Allied Blenders and Distillers (ABD), one of the fastest-growing spirits company, announced its foray into Nepal with the launch of its deluxe whisky brand, Officer’s Choice Blue.
ABD enjoys a global footprint with presence in 26 countries. Its flagship brand, Officer’s Choice Whisky, is not only the largest-selling whisky brand in the world, but also the second-largest-selling spirits brand globally.
Officer’s Choice Blue, a premium variant of Officer’s Choice, was launched in the year 2011. In a little over five years, the brand has grown to 8 million cases. Its unique blend of Scotch malts and select grain spirits has won over millions of consumers. After tasting success in markets around the world, Officer’s Choice Blue now comes to Nepal as part of ABD’s expansion strategy. Speaking at a press conference in Kathmandu, Deepak Roy, Executive Vice Chairman, ABD said, “I am delighted to extend the launch of Officer’s Choice Blue in Nepal. The consumers of Nepal and India share a lot of similarities and I believe that we will be able to create the same magic with Officer’s Choice Blue in Nepal like we did in other parts of the world.”
