
KATHMANDU: Ambassador and Head of the Delegation of the European Union to Nepal, Nona Deprez, on Monday paid a farewell call on Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies Ramesh Rijal.
During the meeting held at the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Minister Rijal expressed his gratitude to the EU for its assistance to Nepal in the sectors of trade and investment, according to Minister Rijal's Secretariat.
Minister Rijal expected that there will be more support from the EU in the implementation of the Nepal Trade Integration Strategy (NTIS) in future. He urged the EU envoy to Nepal to encourage more investments from the EU-member states in tourism, hydropower projects, agricultural processing and manufacturing industries and information technology.
