
BHAIRAHAWA: Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) today started operating flights to Delhi and Hong Kong from Bhairahawa.
Both flights to Delhi and Hong Kong from Bhairahawa via Kathmandu remained without passengers.
General Manager of Gautam Buddha International Airport in Bhairahawa, Hansa Raj Pandey, said NAC's aircraft arriving in Bhairahawa from Malaysia once a week have been operated in the route.
He mentioned that no passengers boarded the plane from Gautam Buddha International Airport today.
Passengers heading to Hong Kong are carried to the destination via Kathmandu while passengers heading towards Delhi are sent to the destination from connecting flights at Tribhuvan International Airport.
The national flag carrier had opened ticket booking from August 27 for the flights operated on both routes. NAC started operating flights in Malaysia-Bhairahawa route on June 13 and has made 12 flights to the destination until now.
