Registration of companies to be made online from October 2

KATHMANDU: The registration of private and public limited companies will be available online from October 2, 2023. 

The Office of the Company Registrar is switching to the online registration service to make its services prompt, reliable and technology-friendly, according to Deputy Registrar Shekhar Babu Karki at the Office. 

However, the renewal procedures will be continued physically for the time being until the Office is prepared for the same.  It will take some time to adjust to the new software that recently replaced the old software to launch the online service for renewal. 

It may be noted that the government is in the course of implementing its paperless governance concept with the use and promotion of information technology.
