Price of petroleum products slashed

KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) reduced the price of petroleum products from Sunday midnight.

Issuing a press statement on Sunday, the state-owned trading enterprise that imports, stores and distributes petroleum products, said that the price of petrol has been slashed by Rs 11 per litre while the price of diesel and kerosene has decreased by Rs 5 per litre.

With the decrease in petroleum prices, the price of petrol is fixed at Rs 169 per litre in Charali, Biratnagar, Janakpur, Amlekhgunj, Bhalbari, Nepalgunj, Dhangadhi and Birgunj and Rs 165 per litre for diesel in these depots.

Likewise, the price of petrol per litre is fixed at Rs 171 in Dang and Surkhet, and Rs 172 in Kathmandu, Pokhara and Dipayal. 

The NOC shared that the price of petroleum products was slashed as per the new pricelist received from the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC).
