
KATHMANDU: Goldstar Shoes, a brand operating under Kiran Shoes Manufacturers, has provided 10,022 pairs of shoes and slippers worth Rs 3,568,150 to earthquake survivors in Jajarkot district.
The earthquake measuring 6.4 on the Richter scale with its epicenter in Jajarkot at 11:47 pm on November 3 resulted in significant casualties and property damage in these districts of the Karnali Province. So far 157 have been confirmed dead in the earthquake.
Along with handing over the shoes and slippers, the company expressed condolences to the bereaved families and wished for the speedy recovery of the injured.
Goldstar Shoes Executive Director Vidushi Rana said, "We are extending support to the earthquake survivors in Jajarkot and Rukum West. We are committed to the welfare of the affected communities and are ready to provide more support."
