Steelcase opens flagship dealer showroom in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: Steelcase, the global design and thought leader in the world of work, opened its flagship dealer showroom in Kathmandu, on Monday.

In partnership with Fusion, Steelcase's range of furnishing and brands are showcased in the multi-level showroom, as part of the company's commitment to develop its footprint in Asia.

Following the opening of Steelcase's Hyderabad showroom earlier this year, the launch of the showroom in Nepal is a testament to the company's commitment to expanding its presence in SAARC and the growth in business opportunities it recognises in Nepal. The launch of the new showroom provides local and international businesses access to the latest Steelcase research, insights and solutions from around the world. as well as a comprehensive portfolio of workplace solutions produced in India and globally.

Addressing the showroom launch programme, Tirthankar Basu, Managing Director- India and SAARC, Steelcase, said, "We are happy and proud to be here in Nepal. The new three-storey showroom houses the latest and most extensive collection of Steelcase office furniture. The iconic chairs including Think, Gesture, and Personality Plus, as well as workstations, are on display at the Maitighar showroom in Kathmandu. A selection of ancillary collections includes the company's community of industry-leading furnishing brands with classic, modern, and innovative works by renowned global designers such as Orangebox, Grado and m.a.d. are also showcased.
