KATHMANDU: Coca-Cola Beverages in Nepal has launched 'Coke Buddy' app to enhance its distribution efficiency and strengthen its presence across Nepal.
The app aims to create a seamless experience of quickly ordering Coca-Cola’s full portfolio of beverages by retailers through distributors anytime, anywhere. This innovative mobile application is set to transform the way Coca-Cola products are distributed by digitally connecting 256 distributors and 156,000 outlets throughout the country.
The 'Coke Buddy' is designed to streamline communications and logistics within Coca-Cola Beverages Nepal and its vast distribution network, fostering real-time connectivity between distributors and outlets. This accelerated digital solution aims to optimise supply chain management, improve inventory visibility, and ultimately ensure a seamless experience for both distributors and retailers.
Deepak Nath Senthil, Managing Director of Bottlers Nepal Limited shared, “Our new Coke Buddy App allows distributors and retailers/outlets to connect and place orders with minimal effort. The ability to create and receive orders quickly 24/7, 365 days a year, is a game-changer for this industry that still largely relies on traditional sales, communication and ordering methods. With the launch of the app, we hope to empower the distributors and retailers in our value chain and drive the growth of each enterprise by helping them serve their customers better.”
To place an order for Coca-Cola’s beverages, an outlet can simply download the app from the Play Store or App Store and log in using their registered phone number which they provided during registration as a Coke outlet. Then, they can select the product they want to order, and it will instantly be reflected in the distributor system and will be processed immediately. To enhance our outlet's digital experience and improve efficiencies, we will be receiving payment from outlets through QR codes only.

We hope our retailers will enjoy the new digitised way of ordering.”
Biwash Karmacharya, owner of Dhaulagiri Mart, a store in Vanashthali, Kathmandu, shared his experience from using the 'Coke Buddy' App, “I have been selling Coca-Cola’s beverages for a long time now. With the launch of the app, I have experienced a great ease of placing orders. It saves me a lot of time, allowing me to give more attention to my customers and other chores at the store. Also, with the app, I am always updated about the latest schemes and can instantly place an order Any time, Anywhere.”
Key features of the app include ordering anytime, anywhere; one-minute ordering, real-time order management, inventory tracking, and promotions and marketing support.
