 
                                                    KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) climbed 0.46% or 9.34 points to close at 2001.64 in today’s trading session. The stock market of Nepal observed a further bullish rally as the index breached the 2000 level, the first since February 22. Sensitive index also increased to 357.09, a growth of 0.31%. However, total turnover plunged to 1.869 billion. 308 companies share exchanged hands. 5,239,416 shares traded in 40,951 transactions.
Among the sub-indices, Manufacturing & Processing (+3.52%) led the bullish run followed by Trading (+1.10%) and Non-Life Insurance (+0.74%). Finance sector (-0.28%) was the worst hit. A total of 143 companies witnessed an upward trend while 88 downward trends.
