The Nepal Distilleries installs poles, streetlights in Balaju

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Distilleries, producer of popular Nepali spirits 'Khukri Rum' and 'Nude Vodka', has installed poles and streetlights on several roads in Balaju area of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-16.

As part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR), the company has provided this assistance to enhance the aesthetics of roads in the area and to increase their safety.

The company believes that the streetlights will beautify the area and improve its safety. The local communities have greatly benefited from this initiative.

Shuvash Lamichhane, General Manager of The Nepal Distilleries, expressed his belief that this work will play a significant role in strengthening the relationship between the company and residents of Balaju area.

Lamichhane shared, "As a representative of the community, we are pleased to see that streetlights, along with poles, have been installed on the roadside in Balaju area with our assistance. This initiative will undoubtedly beautify the area and enhance its security. We believe this will create a more vibrant and welcoming environment for the residents of the area, including our industry. We also anticipate its positive impact."
