Indian PM Modi returns home

LUMBINI: Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who arrived in Lumbini this morning on an official visit to Nepal, returned home in the afternoon on a special helicopter of the Indian Air Force. Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba bade farewell to the Indian Prime Minister at the helipad constructed near the International Buddhist Prayer Centre and Auditorium in Lumbini. PM Deuba along with his spouse Arzu Rana Deuba, Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand, Foreign Minister Dr Narayan Khadka, Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Renu Kumari Yadav, Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Prem Bahadur Ale, Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Devendra Poudel, saw off Indian PM Modi. Similarly, Chief Minister of Lumbini Province, Kul Prasad KC, Chief Secretary of the government, Shanker Das Bairagi, Foreign Secretary Bharat Raj Paudyal, Nepali Ambassador to India, Shankar Prasad Sharma, Chargé d'affaires at the Embassy of India in Kathmandu, Namgya C Khampa, were also present on the occasion.
