KATHMANDU: National Examinations Board (NEB) has said the Grade 12 examinations will be held as scheduled from May 4 to May 16.
NEB has raised objections to the unauthorised use of its logo on various social media platforms in connection with the examination and urged the public not to be misled by false information.
Previously, NEB had planned to commence the Grade 12 exams on April 24, but the schedule was postponed due to teachers' protests organised under the banner of the Confederation of Nepalese Teachers (CNT).
The NEB stated that Grade 12 examination will proceed at the designated centres following an agreement with the CNT. It also clarified that it does not operate a Facebook page, and official information will only be published through its website.
Through a notice, NEB has called on all exam superintendents at the examination centres, teachers, employees, security agencies, parents, media personnel, and stakeholders to finalise all remaining preparations and support the smooth conduct of the examination on the scheduled dates.
