
KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Bishnu Prasad Paudel, consulted Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba on the budget for upcoming fiscal year 2025/26.
Minister Paudel visited former Prime Minister Deuba’s residence in Budhanilkantha this morning and held discussions on the budget for the next fiscal year.
During the meeting, Deuba advised adopting austerity measures considering the country’s economic situation and preparing the budget to maximise the utilisation of available resources, according to the Finance Minister’s Secretariat.
