On the occasion, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the two organisations. Aditya Singh, UbuCon Asia 2025 organising committee chair, signed on behalf of Ubuntu Nepal, while CSRI President Dr Shaligram Parajuli and General Secretary Dr Bhojraj Ghimire signed on behalf of CSRI. The initiative was launched under the leadership of CSRI Founder President Chiranjibi Adhikari.
This collaboration is expected to go beyond the conference and play a significant role in the long-term development of Nepal’s information and communication technology (ICT) sector, as well as the strengthening of the open-source and cyber security fields.
CSRI will now be recognised as a community partner in UbuCon Asia 2025, with its logo and branding included in various mediums.
