Discussions on annual policies and programmes underway at HoR meet

KATHMANDU: The House of Representatives (HoR) is discussing the policies and programmes for the upcoming fiscal year 2025/26 today.

Deliberations on the policies and programmes have been ongoing since last Monday.

Prior to the commencement of the House meeting, sessions of the International Relations and Tourism, Legislative Management, Public Policy and Delegated Legislation, and Federalism Empowerment Committees were held.

Discussions on the policies and programmes are also taking place in the National Assembly.

The National Assembly is scheduled to meet at 1:15 pm on 11 May, during which Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is expected to respond to queries raised in the session, according to Padma Prasad Pandey, General Secretary of the Parliament Secretariat.
