KATHMANDU: Eternal Sounds released the "Junkiri" Project, a music collection of Nepali and English songs by Suman Thapa, in Kathmandu on Wednesday.

The project aims to express music through Nepali folk instruments, such as the bansuri and sarangi, blending them with western-style songwriting and composition. Various musicians have collaborated on the project to assist in the musical arrangement of the songs.

"Mero Awaaz" conveys the grief of losing a loved one, while "Valley of Sunshine" portrays a conversation with death and the feeling of being unafraid to pass on to a beautiful place.
