KATHMANDU: MentorLab Nepal and Embark UnMath are set to host "UnMath Math Talk – Making Maths Magical in Nepal!" at Embark College in Pulchowk, Lalitpur, on Saturday, May 10.

The event aims to challenge conventional approaches to mathematics education by transforming complex concepts into engaging, real-world experiences for students in grades 5 to 10.

The session will be led by internationally acclaimed maths educator Divesh Bathija, Co-founder of UnMath School, whose teaching methods have inspired thousands of young learners across India, Nepal, and the UAE. "Mathematics is not about memorisation—it's about discovery," Bathija said. "When students see how maths connects to their daily lives and the world around them, that is when the real learning begins."

The event will run from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, featuring interactive games that entertain while making learning enjoyable, maths debates that sharpen critical thinking, and storytelling sessions that reveal the history behind mathematical concepts. Additionally, prizes will be awarded to participants, making the experience both rewarding and memorable.

Parents and educators are encouraged to register their children and students soon, as seats are limited.

Registration is available online at mentorlabnepal.com/unmath-mathtalk or by calling +977 980-1118689.

To ensure accessibility, the organisers have set a nominal entry fee of Rs 99 per participant.
