KATHMANDU: Mechi Power Mobile Trade, Bajaj motorcycles' official dealer for Birtamod in Jhapa district, has launched the 'Bajaj Grand Exchange Mela' scheme for the first time in Birtamod.

The bike exchange fair began on May 16 and will run until May 23. It is being held in the open space next to Khadka Complex, in front of One Stop Mall in Birtamod. Customers can receive finance for Bajaj motorcycles simply by providing their citizenship certificate.

The company stated that the scheme offers 0% service charge, on-the-spot finance, an additional Rs 10,000 valuation, free accessories and discounts.

According to Manoj Bansal, Director of Mechi Power Mobile Trade, this is the first exchange fair of its kind in Birtamod where special valuators have been invited to provide the highest valuation for customers' old bikes. These experienced valuators offer a fair valuation, and customers receive an additional bonus valuation of up to Rs 10,000 from the company.

The scheme completely eliminates the cumbersome process of purchasing a motorcycle that previously required documents such as a land ownership certificate, water and electricity bills and income source certificates.

Customers wishing to hire purchase new Bajaj motorcycles can have their loan approved within one hour and receive finance through a simplified process.

The Bajaj Grand Exchange Mela is Nepal's largest motorcycle exchange scheme by Hansraj Hulaschand and Co, the sole authorised distributor of Bajaj motorcycles in Nepal.

With company representatives present, customers can obtain the highest valuation for their old scooters and motorcycles of any brand from experienced and skilful valuators and easily purchase new Bajaj models.
