NOC hikes diesel, kerosene and petrol prices, cuts ATF price
KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has increased the prices of diesel, kerosene and petrol.
A board meeting of NOC increased the retail selling price of diesel and kerosene by Rs 1 per litre and petrol by Rs 2 per litre, effective from today.
However, the corporation has reduced the price of aviation turbine fuel (ATF). The price of domestic ATF has been reduced by Rs 3 per litre and by $22 for international ATF, the corporation said.
With the decision, the rates for diesel and kerosene in the first, second and third clusters have been set at Rs 140.5, Rs 142 and Rs 143 per litre respectively, while the petrol price is set at Rs 156.5, Rs 158 and Rs 159 per litre.
The domestic ATF price has been set at Rs 118 per litre. For international ATF, the price is set at $901 per kilolitre in Kathmandu, $721 in Pokhara and $706 in Bhairahawa.
