
Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index dropped by 9.08 points (0.34%) on Thursday, closing at 2,655.38. This comes after a two-day rise, including a gain of 26.24 points (0.98%) in the previous session.
The market opened at 2,665.23, climbed to an intraday high of 2,672.42, and dropped to a low of 2,654.69 before settling lower by the end of the day.
A total of 28.6 million shares were traded across 311 companies, with 102,895 transactions completed. The total daily turnover reached Rs. 12.51 billion.
The market capitalisation stood at Rs. 4.42 trillion, while the float market capitalisation (based on publicly tradable shares) was Rs. 1.49 trillion.
