Kathmandu: inDrive, the global urban mobility platform, has successfully concluded its “Rides For Goals” campaign in Kathmandu, held throughout May. The initiative was designed to enhance public primary school playgrounds and encourage participation in sports among young students, with 10% of the fare from every third ride donated to the cause.

Proceeds from the campaign were used to refurbish playground facilities and distribute sports equipment — including basketballs, futsal balls, and badminton rackets — aimed at promoting physical activity and teamwork from an early age.

Pavit Nanda Anand, APAC Communications Lead at inDrive, underlined the company’s dedication to community development, while Mark Tolley, Regional Director for Asia Pacific, stressed how small everyday actions, such as booking a ride, can create meaningful social impact. The campaign reflects inDrive’s broader mission to foster social equity and uplift underserved communities.

Operating in 888 cities across 48 countries, inDrive aspires to improve the lives of one billion people by 2030. The campaign was carried out in collaboration with inVision, the company’s non-profit arm, which supports initiatives in education, sport, gender equality, and beyond.
