Gold price falls to Rs 194,700 per tola, silver to Rs 2,150 per tola

KATHMANDU: Price of gold and silver, which had increased sharply over the past few days, has declined moderately since Thursday.

The price of gold and silver has fallen by Rs 800 and Rs 50 per tola (11.66 grammes) today compared with Thursday's price.

Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA) said the price of gold is now set at Rs 194,700 per tola and that of silver at Rs 2,150 per tola. Gold was traded at Rs 195,500 and silver at Rs 2,200 on Thursday.

International media have reported that one ounce of gold is being traded at $3,300 in the international market today.
