Special Court receives ISO 9001:2015 certification
KATHMANDU: The Special Court has been granted International Organisation for Standardisation ISO 9001:2015 certification in recognition of its advances in accountability, sustainability and administrative reform within the judiciary.
Special Court Chairman Tek Narayan Kunwar said the Court endeavours to ensure impartial delivery of justice underpinned by openness, transparency, professional training, technology and well-documented judicial procedures.
The Court officially unveiled the ISO 9001:2015 certificate at a ceremony held at its premises today.
On the occasion, Chairman Kunwar said the Court had secured the certification owing to its continuous efforts to uphold the highest standards of integrity, accountability and public trust in both judicial and administrative processes.
“The Special Court is the first court in the country to obtain ISO certification,” he added, stating that the Court will be required to revalidate its certification in the coming years.
