Himalayan Everest Insurance wins two awards at Insurance Asia Awards 2025

KATHMANDU: Nepal’s leading non-life insurer Himalayan Everest Insurance (HEI) has won two prestigious international awards at the Insurance Asia Awards 2025, held in Singapore on Tuesday.

HEI was named ‘Domestic General Insurer of the Year’ and ‘Insurance Product Innovation of the Year’ for 2025. Chairman Mahendra Krishna Shrestha and Director Bijay Kumar Pant attended the ceremony to receive the honours.

These awards are among the most prestigious in the Asia-Pacific insurance sector and have further elevated Nepal’s industry profile on the global stage.

The achievement builds on HEI’s growing international reputation. The company won an Insurance Asia Award in 2023 and in 2024 secured both the ‘Domestic General Insurer of the Year’ and ‘Strategic Partnership of the Year’ titles.
