Xiaomi launches new high-performance power banks

KATHMANDU: Xiaomi has launched four new power banks on the Nepali market, offering capacities from 10,000 mAh to 20,000 mAh and prices ranging from Rs 3,499 to Rs 4,999. Designed for travellers, commuters and anyone working far from a wall socket, the devices deliver fast charging, multi-device support and enhanced safety features.

The entry-level Xiaomi Power Bank 4i (10,000 mAh), priced at Rs 3,499, is a slim, pocket-friendly unit available in Classic Black, Olive Green and Coral Purple. It supports 22.5 W fast charging, PD Quick Charge 3.0 and two-way charging via USB-C and USB-A output ports, taking approximately four hours to recharge fully with an 18 W input.

Priced at Rs 4,299, the Xiaomi Pocket Power Bank (10,000 mAh) adds an integrated USB/USB-C cable to the same fast-charging and three-device compatibility features. It recharges in just 3.5 hours at an 18 W input and is offered in Maroon and Blue finishes.

The Redmi Power Bank (20,000 mAh), costing Rs 4,499, combines high capacity with dual input and output ports. Its 12-layer circuit protection shields against temperature extremes, short circuits and voltage irregularities, while lithium-polymer cells ensure longer life and greater efficiency. It is available in Black and White.

Topping the range is the Xiaomi Power Bank 4i (20,000 mAh), at Rs 4,999. It delivers 33 W sonic charging, two-way fast charging and triple-device support, and includes a low-power discharge mode for compatibility with smaller gadgets. A full recharge cycle takes around 6.9 hours on an 18 W input. It features Type-C and dual USB-A outputs, 12 layers of safety protection and comes in Jet Black, Nitro Green and Turbo Blue.

With rapid-charge capabilities, robust construction and comprehensive safety systems, Xiaomi’s latest power banks aim to meet the needs of modern users who demand both reliability and convenience when charging on the move.
