KATHMANDU: Aloft Kathmandu Thamel has celebrated its sixth anniversary by partnering with Aamako Ghar to deliver hygiene treatment and essential supplies to homeless senior citizens and children.
The hotel’s team visited Aamako Ghar’s residential facility in Kathmandu to conduct a comprehensive hygiene treatment, creating a cleaner, healthier living environment for residents. Staff also distributed fresh linen and warm baked cookies as part of the corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative.

The project was overseen by Chairman Prithvi Bahadur Pande and supported by Managing Director Maheshwor Prakash Shrestha, alongside the hotel’s board of directors, management team and associates.
Vikram Singh, General Manager of Aloft Kathmandu Thamel, said, ‘As we celebrate six years of Aloft Kathmandu Thamel, we wanted to engage with our community in a meaningful way by continuously supporting Aamako Ghar. This experience is a reminder that every small act of kindness matters.’
Established in 1999, Aamako Ghar provides shelter, dignity and care to Nepal’s most vulnerable. As Aloft Kathmandu Thamel enters its seventh year, the hotel has pledged to continue its purpose-driven hospitality and community engagement.
