KATHMANDU: Nepal Entrepreneurship Forum, organised by King’s College and its research wing, Centre for Research and Development (CERAD), concluded on Sunday with deliberations on several issues and facets of social entrepreneurship.

The two-day international conference, which began on Saturday under the theme ‘Towards sustainable entrepreneurship ecosystem’, provided a platform for more than 500 entrepreneurs, thought leaders, researchers, policymakers, educators and students from Nepal and abroad.

Delegates engaged in meaningful conversations that linked academic insights with real-world experience, allowing participants to learn from both perspectives.

Sagun Baba Shrestha, conference coordinator, said, “Over two days, Nepal Entrepreneurship Forum became a vibrant space for sharing fresh ideas on sustainable businesses, technological innovation and inclusive growth.”

He added that the event had built genuine connections, sparked collaborations across borders and inspired everyone to work towards a stronger and more resilient entrepreneurial future for Nepal.

Panel discussions covered topics including economic freedom, inclusive education, climate-smart practices, mentorship, policy reform and public–private partnerships.

The forum concluded with reflections on how to integrate profit, purpose and environmental responsibility into entrepreneurship.

According to King’s College, this gathering marked a special milestone, tracing its origins from the 2016 International Conference on Social Entrepreneurship to the Sunday's Nepal Entrepreneurship Forum.
