KATHMANDU: A launch event was organised on July 24 to introduce Momo VC and the Startup Resource Hub to Nepal’s startup, investor and policy-making communities. The gathering in Kathmandu brought together investors, ecosystem partners and policy-makers to explore collaboration opportunities and celebrate a new wave of support for the country’s tech-enabled enterprises.

Momo VC, a US-based venture capital fund led by Nepali diaspora professionals Preeti Adhikary and Sajan Gautam, backs early-stage, tech-enabled startups with smarter capital, strategic guidance and access to a global network.

The Startup Resource Hub offers founders practical tools, curated knowledge and actionable resources — from pitch decks and templates to market-navigation playbooks — all tailored to help Nepali entrepreneurs thrive in both domestic and international markets.

Momo VC and the Startup Resource Hub constitute two of the four pillars of an ecosystem approach, alongside the Great Nepali Diaspora and Nepal Venture Studio. Together, they represent a founder-first strategy aimed at strengthening Nepal’s entrepreneurial ecosystem through grassroots support, innovation and global connectivity.

The launch was organised in partnership with One to Watch, whose mission to advance private capital and the investment ecosystem in Nepal aligns with Momo VC’s objective of unlocking early-stage funding and reinforcing the startup investment pipeline.
