KATHMANDU: Ihub, the authorised distributor of Segway-Ninebot in Nepal, today announced the upcoming launch of four new electric mobility models at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2025, set to take place from August 6 to 10 at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu.

The new line-up includes two e-scooters — the Segway E150 MK2 and E125 MK2 — as well as the Segway Xyber e-bike and Xafari e-cycle. According to Ihub, these models have been designed to support a wide array of transport needs, including daily commuting and lifestyle-focused, eco-conscious travel.

The E150 MK2, described as the flagship, comes with a 7,500W motor, dual 1,944Wh batteries, a top speed of 90 km/h, and a range of 75 to 120 kilometres. The E125 MK2 features a 3,600W motor, a single 1,944Wh battery, a top speed of 70 km/h, and a range of up to 100 kilometres.

The Xyber e-bike is fitted with a 3,000W hub motor and a 1,440Wh lithium battery, enabling a top speed of 32 km/h with a range of 77 kilometres. The Xafari e-cycle is equipped with a 750W motor, a 936Wh battery, and a 25kg rear carrier, offering practical and eco-friendly mobility for daily use.

Segway aims to reinforce its presence in Nepal’s growing electric mobility sector. The company says the new range balances performance, functionality and sustainability, setting new benchmarks in personal transportation. Visitors to NAIMA 2025 will be the first to preview the models, with further announcements on pricing and availability expected during the event.

Segway operates in more than 80 countries and maintains global hubs in cities such as Beijing, Seattle and Amsterdam. It is recognised for its commitment to innovation and its focus on sustainable personal mobility.
