KATHMANDU: ICT Foundation Nepal is set to organise Digital Nepal Conclave 2025 on August 15, under the slogan ‘Empowering Digital Nepal Together’. The fourth edition of the conclave will centre on the theme ‘Digital Synergy: Transforming Governance, Economy and Society’.
The event will take place at The Plaza in Pulchowk, Lalitpur, and will feature more than eight sessions and over 50 national and international experts. With participation from Google, sessions will cover digital governance, digital public infrastructure, digital health, the digital economy, ICT industry discourse, power dialogue and other key topics.
This year’s conclave will also include research paper presentations spanning eight areas of the Digital Nepal Framework, and organisers have confirmed that more than 15 digital initiatives will be showcased. Over 500 delegates, including representatives from federal, provincial and local governments, policymakers, experts and entrepreneurs, are expected to attend in person.
Applications for research papers and digital initiative showcases, as well as detailed information about the conclave, can be submitted and viewed on the Digital Nepal Conclave website at digitalconclave.org. Tickets for participation in the fourth edition are also available for purchase through the same site.
As pre-events this year, ICT Foundation Nepal organised a two-day Digital Karnali Conclave in Karnali Province, a one-day Digital Madhesh Conclave in Madhesh Province and ran the ‘ICT Gyan’ programme on digital literacy campaigns across all seven provinces.
Digital Nepal Conclave provides a platform for extensive discussions, presentations and interactions on the government’s efforts, plans and programmes for digital transformation and the context needed to achieve its goals. Since the Government of Nepal published the Digital Nepal Framework in 2019, the foundation has been leading various campaigns and programmes to develop Nepal’s digital ecosystem.
