
KATHMANDU: Jagdamba Motors, a subsidiary of the Shanker Group, has expanded into the commercial electric vehicle (EV) sector, offering models under the Farizon, Chery Wanda and King Long brands.
The company unveiled its new 14- to 19-seat commercial EVs at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2025, which opened on August 6. The vehicles are on display at stand D-16 in Hall D, where the commercial division is highlighting special offers for bookings made during the event.
Nepal leads the world in EV adoption, with commercial EVs now gaining strong momentum following early growth in the private sector.

The Chery Wanda 14-seater EV microbus combines the manufacturing strengths of Chery and Wanda, two of China’s leading automotive brands. It offers a ground clearance of 180 mm, a CATL battery with 53.58 kWh capacity and a New European Driving Cycle range of 300 km. Priced at Rs 5.65 million, it comes with a 300,000 km or five-year warranty on the battery and a five-year or 200,000 km warranty on the motor, making it a cost-effective choice for daily urban commuting.
