KATHMANDU: To celebrate eight consecutive years as the world’s No. 1 electric two-wheeler brand, Yadea has announced a special offer on its popular Velax model in Nepal. The high-performance e-scooter is now available at NPR 2,45,000, down from its original price of NPR 2,85,000 — a limited-time offer valid while stocks last.
The announcement was made by Kuzu Nepal Pvt. Ltd., the exclusive authorised distributor of Yadea in Nepal since 2020.
The price drop marks Yadea’s global achievement of more than 70 million units sold worldwide, reinforcing its leadership in the electric two-wheeler segment. The offer aims to thank loyal customers and encourage wider adoption of electric mobility in Nepal.
The Yadea Velax is designed for riders seeking performance, comfort, and advanced technology. Powered by a 3200W motor generating 172 N·m of torque, the Velax can reach speeds of up to 62 km/h and offers a range of up to 100 km per charge*. It features a removable 30Ah / 72V Lithium–LFP battery, known for safety, thermal stability, and longer life, with the convenience of portable charging.
Built with Nepal’s road conditions in mind, the Velax comes equipped with cruise control, reverse mode, and a front and rear disc braking system with CBS. Its 170 mm ground clearance adds to its suitability for varied terrains across the country.
Yadea continues to expand its global footprint, operating in over 100 countries, and remains committed to leading the shift towards eco-friendly, high-performance electric transport.
