Foreign Minister Arzu Rana Deuba Extends Independence Day Greetings to India

KATHMANDU: Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dr Arzu Rana Deuba, has extended her best wishes to the Government of India and its people on the occasion of the country’s 79th Independence Day.

In a post on social media platform X, addressed to her Indian counterpart Dr S. Jaishankar, Minister Deuba emphasised Nepal’s appreciation for its enduring relationship with India.

“Nepal places high value on its long-standing and sustainable partnership with India,” she wrote.

“On India's Independence Day, we wish for the prosperity, unity, and harmony of the Indian people to continue, and may India remain a shining example of democracy, inspiring countries around the world,” the Foreign Minister added.
