Entrepreneur Upadhyay appointed Uganda’s honorary consul to Nepal.

KATHMANDU: Vinay Upadhyay, an entrepreneur specialising in real estate, housing development and tourism, has been appointed Uganda’s honorary consul to Nepal.

He received his appointment letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday.

Known for his visionary approach to business and international partnerships, Upadhyay has made significant contributions to Nepal’s entrepreneurial landscape.

Following the handover, he expressed his gratitude and vowed to strengthen relations between Uganda and Nepal.

“I will take this special initiative with full commitment and will work to take the bilateral relations between our two countries to new heights in the future,” he said.

His appointment is expected to pave the way for deeper co-operation between the Republic of Uganda and Nepal in trade, tourism, investment and cultural exchange.
