Gold price nears Rs 2 lakh per tola; silver declines

KATHMANDU: The price of fine gold has risen by Rs 1,200 per tola to Rs 199,900 on Wednesday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA). On Tuesday, the rate was Rs 198,700 per tola.

The Gold has been edging close to the Rs 200,000 mark in recent days, driven partly by fluctuations in the international bullion market.

Meanwhile, silver prices fell by Rs 15 compared to Tuesday, trading at Rs 2,345 per tola.
