Gold price skyrockets, reaches Rs 203,600 per tola

KATHMANDU: Gold prices in Nepal have surged to a record high, with fine gold trading at Rs 203,600 per tola on Sunday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA). The price jumped by Rs 3,000 from Friday’s rate of Rs 200,600 per tola.

Silver also saw a notable rise, gaining Rs 65 in a single day to reach Rs 2,425 per tola, compared with Rs 2,360 on Friday.
