Yeti Airlines partners with Upaya City Cargo to launch door-to-door cargo service
KATHMANDU: Yeti Airlines has formed a strategic partnership with Upaya City Cargo to launch and manage the ‘Yeti Door-to-Door Cargo Service’, the companies announced on Monday. The collaboration brings together Yeti’s extensive aviation network and Upaya’s proprietary logistics platform, Upaya Complete, to deliver fully trackable door-to-door cargo solutions across Nepal.
Under the terms of the agreement, Upaya will serve as the exclusive operational and technology partner, overseeing every stage of the cargo lifecycle. This includes first-mile pick-up, warehousing, dispatch, air transport coordination, last-mile delivery, return management and cash-on-delivery reconciliation. By integrating air cargo with optimised ground logistics, the new service aims to reduce transit times significantly while maintaining high standards of reliability.
Customers can choose from a range of delivery options to suit their needs: a hassle-free door-to-door service, parcel drop-off at any Upaya hub or the traditional airport-to-airport solution. Shipments will be traceable in real time via Upaya’s integrated digital platform, and pricing has been structured flexibly to accommodate both businesses and individual customers.
Initial operations will span major urban centres — including Kathmandu, Biratnagar, Pokhara, Birgunj, Bhairahawa, Nepalgunj, Janakpur and Bhadrapur — as well as remote regions, ensuring seamless connectivity between businesses and consumers across the country.
Both companies plan to extend the service’s footprint to cover additional cities and introduce advanced features such as AI-driven route optimisation, automated hubs and data-driven insights for commercial customers. The Yeti Door-to-Door Cargo Service represents a landmark shift in Nepal’s logistics sector, setting new benchmarks for speed, reliability and customer experience.
