
Gold prices in Nepal surged to a fresh record high on Sunday, continuing their upward momentum in the domestic market.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), the price of fine gold rose by Rs 1,600 to reach an unprecedented Rs 212,000 per tola, up from Rs 210,400 on Friday. This marks the highest level ever recorded in the country, surpassing the previous peak.
Silver also edged higher, gaining Rs 10 per tola to trade at Rs 2,500, compared to Rs 2,490 per tola the previous day.
