KATHMANDU: inDrive, the global mobility and urban services platform, has reinforced its safety-first mission by organising a ‘Safety First’ driver training programme in partnership with Fightback Nepal. The initiative brought together more than 100 moto riders and cab drivers for an interactive session to strengthen the awareness, skills and professionalism essential for safe, respectful and comfortable journeys.

The session, led by Vikrant Pandey, Founder of Fightback Nepal, focused on equipping drivers with practical tools to manage real-life situations. Participants engaged in scenario-based learning using the Fightback BHV Framework and took part in practical safety drills to ensure professional and secure interactions with passengers.

Throughout the programme, drivers were encouraged to promote a culture of respect and safety, adopt appropriate conduct and professional standards, and build awareness of how to handle uncomfortable situations effectively, reinforcing inDrive’s positioning as a safety-first, people-powered platform.

On completion, each driver who attended the full training received a certificate and a Verified Driver Badge, officially recognising them as inDrive-verified drivers.

inDrive stated that the initiative underscores its ongoing commitment to prioritising passenger welfare at the heart of its operations and equipping its network of drivers with the necessary skills to maintain the highest safety standards.
