KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has called an all-party meeting for 6:00 pm today to seek, through dialogue, a way out of the current adverse situation that has arisen in the nation.
In an appeal issued today, PM Oli expressed regret over the demonstrations that took place in the capital and various parts of the country on Monday and the incidents that followed.
"Any form of violence is not in favour of the nation, and it is the method of seeking a solution through dialogue and peaceful means that we should adopt. I am in talks with the sides concerned for assessing the situation that has arisen and to arrive at a meaningful conclusion," he said.
He added that he has called for an all-party meeting today for this very purpose.
"I urge all sisters and brothers to remain calm in this adverse situation," Oli said.
