Nepal Telecom offers free data, voice calls for 3 days

KATHMANDU: Nepal Telecom (NTC) has announced a free data and voice-call package for up to three days in response to widespread disruptions caused by Gen Z protests across the country.

Under the scheme, subscribers receive unlimited data for one day at a speed of 1 Mbps and free on-net voice calls (NTC to NTC) for the duration of the offer.

Customers can activate the data bundle by dialling *1415*8*3# and the voice-call bundle by dialling *1415*8*7#. Both services are also accessible via the general USSD code *1415#.

The initiative follows widespread network outages and infrastructure damage amid ongoing demonstrations. NTC has urged the public to safeguard telecom facilities to ensure uninterrupted connectivity and directed users to its official website for further details and updates.
