KATHMANDU: Flights have resumed at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), the airport office stated today. The airport, which had been closed since Tuesday due to adverse conditions, has now reopened.

In a public notice issued today, the airport office announced that flights suspended since Tuesday will resume following a decision by the TIA Security Committee this afternoon.

Travellers arriving for a flight have been requested to contact their respective airlines for information about flight times before travelling to the airport. They have also been asked to bring their flight tickets and identification documents.

Meanwhile, private airline Buddha Air has announced that its flight operations will commence on Thursday morning.
