Nepali Army extends curfew in Kathmandu Valley till 6am Friday
KATHMANDU: Nepali Army (NA) has extended a prohibitory order and curfew in Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur districts until 6:00 am on Friday, citing the prevailing security situation.
Vehicles and institutions providing essential services will be allowed to operate during the curfew.
Residents were asked to shop for consumer goods in small groups to ease daily life. Shops selling daily essentials were allowed to open from 6:00 am to 9:00 am and 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm today.
