KATHMANDU: President Ramchandra Paudel dissolved the House of Representatives, the Lower House of the Federal Parliament, at 11:00 pm on Friday, on the advice of new Prime Minister Sushila Karki.

A press release from the Office of the President said that the next election to the House of Representatives has been set for March 5, 2026.
