Gold hits record high in domestic market at Rs 221,700 per tola
KATHMANDU: Price of gold has reached its highest level so far in the domestic market today.
The yellow metal is being traded at Rs 221,700 per tola (11.66 grams) today, the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA) said. The price of gold was Rs 217,800 per tola on Monday, an increase of Rs 3,900 per tola compared with Monday.
Similarly, the price of silver is fixed at Rs 2,680 per tola.
The price of gold is around $3,748 per ounce in the international market today, according to FENEGOSIDA.
