SCT launches Smart Celebrations with SCT campaign at Big Mart for SCT-UnionPay cardholders
KATHMANDU: Smart Choice Technologies (SCT), a payment system operator licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank, has launched the "Smart Celebrations with SCT" campaign at Big Mart in Kathmandu. The campaign offers SCT‑UnionPay cardholders a flat 10% discount of up to Rs 100 per transaction.
The offer runs from Ghatasthapana on September 22 to October 27, covering the Dashain, Tihar and Chhath festival period, and is intended to give cardholders savings throughout the festive shopping season.
SCT said the campaign encourages customers to use SCT‑UnionPay cards for everyday purchases and to experience the benefits of digital payments. Cardholders are advised to visit their nearest member bank to obtain an SCT‑UnionPay card and take advantage of this and similar promotions.
SCT currently partners with 23 member banks and more than 100 member cooperatives across Nepal, a network the company said is supporting wider adoption of digital payments nationwide.
