KATHMANDU: Nepal Tech Market has launched maBill, a restaurant point‑of‑sale (POS) and billing software developed by the Three Gen‑Z group of startups to modernise operations across the country’s hospitality sector.

The platform combines billing, order management, accounting and stock control in a single system designed for restaurants of all sizes. maBill offers digital billing to replace handwritten receipts, a mobile app that sends orders instantly from table to kitchen, automatic accounting reports and real‑time stock notifications to alert managers when ingredients run low.

Users can update menus and prices instantly via the digital menu function, removing the need to reprint menus, and the system produces accounting statements such as trial balances and income statements.

Chiranjibi Adhikari, CEO of Nepal Tech Market and senior vice president of the Federation of Computer Association Nepal (CAN Federation), said maBill is a product of Nepal Tech Market and that the launch marks a step towards making technology more accessible for businesses.

The development team, led by Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Mangal Krishna Pradhan, said it has used “innovative technology” to create a user‑friendly experience. The project is presented as a commercial demonstration by Gen‑Z in Nepal under the philosophy “act locally, think globally”.

As part of the launch offer, maBill is being provided free to the Three Gen‑Z group of startups for one year, and the founders are offering 30% discount to women entrepreneurs.

Ami Kattel, a founder of maBill, said the initiative encourages technology adoption and supports the empowerment of women in business, and that Nepal Tech Market is committed to making technology easier, more effective and affordable.

Nepal Tech Market has positioned itself as the country’s first software market agency and says the platform aims to bridge the gap between innovation and the businesses that need it.
