KATHMANDU: MAW Vriddhi, a leading automotive group spearheading electric mobility in Nepal, will host a three-day Festive-Focused Mega Exchange Carnival from October 10 to 12 at Alice Reception, Gairidhara, Kathmandu. Simultaneous events will be held at authorised showrooms of Deepal, Avatr, Nammi and Seres across the country.

The event will offer vehicle owners the chance to exchange old cars for new electric models, with exchange top-ups and cash discounts of up to Rs 1.5 million on selected vehicles. Nepal’s top five reconditioning houses will be on site at the Kathmandu venue to value cars and help secure competitive exchange deals.

Visitors will get the chance to view and test-drive models from Deepal, Avatr, Nammi and Seres, and attend the first public test drive in Nepal of Avatr’s ultra-premium electric SUV. The carnival will also display the recently launched Deepal S05 and the Nammi Viggo.

Organisers said the three-day carnival is family-friendly and will include humanoid robot shows, car-racing simulators, a dedicated kids’ zone, indoor games and food stalls. Every confirmed booking during the carnival will include a complimentary couple’s stay at a premium Nagarkot resort, the company added.

MAW Vriddhi said the nationwide, synchronised showroom events aim to make EV upgrades accessible to customers across Nepal and to showcase the latest innovations in the country’s growing electric vehicle market.
