vivo launches V60 Lite as travel portrait companion
KATHMANDU: vivo today launched the V60 Lite, positioning the smartphone as a travel portrait perfect partner with enhanced AI lighting, advanced imaging and strong performance.
The V60 Lite emphasises portrait photography for travellers with a 50 MP Sony main camera, an 8 MP 120° wide‑angle camera and a 32 MP HD selfie camera, all supported by vivo’s third‑generation AI Aura Light Portrait. The lighting system doubles brightness, expands the lighting area by 4.2 times and delivers much softer illumination than a standard flash, while Smart Lighting Control automatically adjusts colour temperature to keep skin tones natural under varied lighting conditions. Exclusive to the V60 Lite 5G, Master Portrait Style Bokeh, AI Master HD Algorithm and 4K video on both front and rear cameras enhance image quality for professional‑grade results.
The phone offers creative tools such as AI Image Studio and, on the 5G model, AI Four‑Season Portrait with spring, summer, autumn and winter styles. AI Erase 3.0 and AI Enhance let users quickly polish images for social media. vivo says these features make the V60 Lite reliable in varied locations and lighting conditions.
Design features include two finishes, Titanium Blue and Elegant Black, and an exquisite transparent camera module with vertically aligned lenses. The device is slim and lightweight with a slim flat‑screen design and ultra‑thin bezels inherited from vivo’s flagship models.
Performance is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7360‑Turbo 5G processor in the V60 Lite 5G and a Snapdragon 685 processor in the 4G model. The 5G version pairs 12 GB RAM plus 12 GB extended RAM with 256 GB storage, while the 4G model pairs 8 GB RAM plus 8 GB extended RAM with 256 GB storage. The 6.77‑inch AMOLED display offers a 120 Hz refresh rate and a 94.2% screen‑to‑body ratio, and dual stereo speakers deliver enhanced audio.
Battery and durability features include a 6500 mAh BlueVolt battery with 90W FlashCharge, which vivo says charges from 1% to 100% in 52 minutes and retains high efficiency for up to five years. The V60 Lite is rated IP65 for dust and water resistance and includes one‑tap water/dust ejection and greasy/wet‑hand touch support.
Productivity and AI integrations include Google Gemini, AI Captions, AI Note Assist and AI Transcript Assist for translation, summarisation and task management on the move.
vivo has said the V60 Lite will be available nationwide through retail stores and Daraz Online from today, with a starting price of Rs 39,999.
