Gold price falls Rs 11,600 to Rs 241,900

KATHMANDU: The fall in international market prices of gold and silver has also affected the local market, with gold trading at Rs 241,900 per tola and silver at Rs 3,015 per tola today, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association (FENEGOSIDA).

Since Tihar, the price of gold has fallen by Rs 11,600 per tola and silver by Rs 265 per tola. On October 20, gold was trading at Rs 253,500 per tola and silver at Rs 3,280 per tola.

International media reports that gold is trading at $4,113 per ounce and silver at $48 per ounce in the international market today.
